LADY'S LITTLE SECRETARY in the form of a sheath in mahogany, mahogany veneer and speckled mahogany veneer opening with a drawer in the waist, a flap in the upper part and a door in the lower part. The flap reveals an interior composed of a central locker and four small drawers on two rows in satin finish. The writing surface is covered with green calfskin and gilded with a small iron. The belt is adorned with four finely chased and gilded bronze applique motifs symmetrically arranged in lion's head, stylized palmette, and female profile frames.
