A piece of mahogany and mahogany veneer living room furniture with a slightly curved rectangular back. Armrests with lotus leaves and cuffs. Pilastered uprights with Ionic capitals. Tapered front legs with foliage rings, sabre-shaped back legs. Ornamentation of gilded bronzes: winged griffins, lyre, ribboned torches and openwork leafy medallions. It includes two bergères and four armchairs. Period labels under the belt: "Chambres accouchés" and chalk inscription: "Lucien". Attributed to Jacob Frères. Empire period. Upholstered in almond green and chamois suede.
