Perseus, tragedy in music on a libretto by Philippe Quinault, was premiered at the Royal Academy of Music on 17 April 1682, and given at Versailles on 21 July the following year| it was published the same year.
Copy bound with the arms of François II de BOYER DE BANDOL, mortar president at the Parliament of Provence, who lived from 1673 to 1745 (OHR, plate no. 1507, iron no. 1).
