"My little one, I'm still in Begnins, grey weather and fog, you can see it from here. I work a lot but what a terrible spleen| my wife is very well with the doctor and fills his head". He asks for news about life in Paris: "Have you seen any of the modern tribe? I can't wait to go back home, a flood of desirable memories is evoking in me. Well, you know, I may arrive in the capital without warning. Do you work for "Modern Gallery" and the other one ? I'll be frolicking with you sooner or later with du Bois, stronger than ever. You're the winch and I'm the anchor. So it's impossible to live in Switzerland [...]". He kisses her and loves her.
