These drawings and sketches, which date from 1930, 6 of which are monogrammed, represent studies of female nudes, floral motifs, trees, foliage, satyrs, attitude research, etc. 3 of them are captioned: "Brambles", "Poppy", "Hazelnuts".
These researches can be linked to the illustration of Mallarmé's Poems (Skira, 1932).
Enclosed: certificate of authenticity signed by Madame Duthuit, daughter of Henri Matisse.
