L.A.S. "R. Koch", Berlin, 9 December 1888, to a colleague| 3.5 pages in-8 (central fold repaired with tape)| in German.
He had entrusted his colleague, through the intermediary of the State Councillor Dr Kirchner, with the reception of the books offered at the Hygiene Museum, and he had hoped to thank him personally as soon as possible once the books had been classified and listed| however, a change in the Institute's secretariat and the confusion that the Institute had created in current affairs had delayed this project to his great regret. He apologizes for not having come forward sooner....
