Charles SPAAK (1903-1975) was a prolific scriptwriter who collaborated with most of the great directors of French cinema, from Marcel Lherbier to Henri Verneuil, Julien Duvivier and Jean Renoir. The project here evoked never materialized : at the end of this year 1961, Renoir shot his film Le Caporal épinglé.
