If you can do anything to amuse them such as taking a drink or describing the political situation you will again obligate your old friend and colleague E. Hemingway. Wish the hell I was coming – Cook will tell you our news – Pauline [his second wife] is fine...
”The second reads: “Here is the dough. I can’t ever give you my thanks ... Marty [Martha Gellhorn, to be his third wife] fine. Kids here...”
