Made of veneered wood with marquetry decoration and fitted with gilded bronze fittings. The upper section, shaped like a gendarme’s cap, is adorned with a central medallion depicting a vestal virgin. The rounded side panels, topped with vases of flowers, are decorated with floral ribbons and are partially fluted. The front, which opens with two panels, reveals an interior with four shelves. The straight apron, decorated with a scalloped panel, opens via a drawer and rests on spindle legs. Louis XVI style
