The boom in trading cards

Initially coveted by gamers, they are now sought after by collectors and investors around the world. With prices skyrocketing recently, trading cards are the new gold rush in sales. This phenomenon is such that Aguttes has decided to create a department dedicated to this theme. “This young collectors' market has potential. We are planning two to three sales per year,” says Maximilien Aguttes. The first sale of 250 lots will take place in Paris on October 18, with estimates ranging from €100 to €30,000. It will include Pokémon, Magic: The Gathering, and Yu-Gi-Oh! cards sold individually, catalogs, and sealed packs in their original packaging. There will even be sports cards, including one of Kylian Mbappé (€600 to €700) with a piece of his French national team jersey.
