L'Aventure Peugeot Citroën DS – The official sale
AULNAY-SOUS-BOIS, SUNDAY 19TH SEPTEMBER

90% of cars sold!

Since 2019, L'Aventure Peugeot Citroën DS has trusted Aguttes to organize an auction. A deserved and rewarded trust, since after the sales of the Citroën Centenary in la Ferté-Vidame in 2019 and at the Peugeot Museum in Sochaux in 2020, the sale which took place at the Citroën Conservatory in Aulnay-sous-Bois kept all its promises...
The catalog, which included 58 automobilia lots and 68 vehicles, satisfied both fans of the Chevron and Lion brands. After Citroën toys, enamel plates, a large number of posters or even a bench from the Aulnay factory infirmary, Maître Sophie Perrine began the auction with a series of tractors, including a rare example designed in 1919 by André Citroën that sold for €31,500. We then noted some good results for pre-war cars, notably for the Peugeot 301 C Roadster (€37,500), the 402 Limousine or the Citroën Traction 7 C Cabriolet (€38,700). In this respect, the cabriolets also scored well, with €30,300 and €50,700 respectively for the two restoration project Peugeot 403 Cabriolets and €84,300 for the very beautiful 203 Cabriolet. In the lesser-known section, the FAF 4x4 (€28,500) and the sublime "truck-trailer" bodied by Barou on a Type H base (€54,300) met all expectations and is headed across the pond, to the USA. The records of the day went to a Peugeot 205 GTi 1.9 in new condition (€48,300), to a Citroën CX Prestige separation-driver ex-Mairie de Paris under Jacques Chirac (€84,300) and to two long awaited Citroën 2 CV Charleston "new", a Gris Cormoran with 9 km (€108,300) and a Rouge Delage with 18 km on the odometer (€120,300), proving that the world record obtained at the Tour Auto on the 30th of August wasn’t crazy but a real struggle between passionate collectors.

Aguttes on Wheels in the race

Les routes du Perche

A sale at the Tour Auto Optic 2ooo, a sale in partnership with l’Aventure Peugeot Citroën DS: the return from the summer holdays was intense for our team. What could be better than a weekend in the countryside to relax before tackling autumn? This year again, Aguttes on Wheels has decided to support the Routes du Perche, a sightseeing rally organized by Patrimoine & Panoramas.

Four crews from our department are leaving right now to discover the treasures of this beautiful region. Gautier Rossignol and Baudouin Jager left Paris at the crack of dawn in a Lotus Seven S2, while Hugo Baldy enjoys the comfort of a Jaguar XK 150 FHC, Raphaël de Serres, the luxury of a Mercedes-Benz 220S Cabriolet, and Augustin Delalande, the sportiness of an Austin-Healey 100-4. This rally, of which Aguttes has been a partner for several years, covers some of the most beautiful roads in the region, hopping from mysterious castles to cosy restaurants. Twenty cars, all equally beautiful, are expected for a weekend that promises to be comforting. If you are also in the Perche this weekend, keep an eye out, and don't hesitate to come and say hello...
