Musée de l’Aventure Peugeot – Sochaux, 20 September
During the European Heritage Days, the Aventure Peugeot Citroën DS will offer part of its collection for sale at auction. After the success of its first collaboration for the official sale at the Citroën Centenary in July 2019, the management of the Aventure Peugeot Citroën DS has again placed its trust in Aguttes for this new and eagerly awaited auction. For the very first time, this will be held inside the Peugeot Museum in Sochaux on 20 September.
Pre-war cars, popular models, goods vehicles and competition cars from the makes in the group are all invited to enter this historic sale. While Peugeot will take priority and will be the best represented make, some iconic models from the other makes in the group (Citroën, Simca and Talbot) will also be eligible. To include your car in the sale, please contact Aguttes’ classic cars department straightaway. Entries will close on 28 August.
Private treaty sales
Following our Spring Sale and despite the lockdown, the classic cars department at Aguttes continued to go about its business and closed several sales by private treaty, led by an all-English trio. Jean Brandenburg’s Jaguar E-Type 4.2 Roadster changed hands, soon followed by the sale of a Jaguar XK 150 Roadster 3.4S and finally an XK 120 Roadster which had recently competed several times in the Mille Miglia.
Aguttes on Wheels still has several cars available for sale by private treaty, including a Jaguar E-Type 3.8 FIA, a Chevron B8 (a ticket to enter the next Mille Miglia), a rare Fiat 1100 ES Coupé Pinin Farina and a Ferrari 512 BB, among many others. Autumn Sale – Paris, 29 November
With the intention of refocusing its auction activity in Paris, Aguttes’ classic cars department will hold its next Autumn Sale at the Espace Champerret in the 17th arrondissement of Paris. Aguttes on Wheels will therefore put on a double show in Paris and in Lyon, for the Epoqu’Auto Show (6-8 November), where we will display one of the stars from the catalogue. Please do not hesitate to contact the department straightaway to consign your classic.
