Estimated at €50,000 – €70,000, this statuette, produced in only 25 copies in 2021, commemorated together with Hiroshi Fujiwara, the 25th anniversary of Pokémon.

When Baccarat celebrated Pokémon’s 25th anniversary

Back in 1996, when Pokémon Red and Pokémon Green were released on the Nintendo Game Boy, these small heroes quickly achieved worldwide fame.
In 2021, the brand’s 25th anniversary was celebrated, and Baccarat commissioned a giant of Pop culture, Hiroshi Fujiwara, to create a Pikachu Fragment. For the occasion, a limited number of Pikachu figurines and a Poké Ball were also produced.
Designer and musician, regarded as the godfather of streetwear, Hiroshi Fujiwara founded the design collective “Fragment Design,” and regularly collaborates with major brands.
This collaboration, between a renowned Japanese artist and a French maison with over two centuries of history, revolved around a single number: 25. It represents Pikachu’s number in the Pokédex, and Baccarat limited the edition of “Pikachu Fragments” to just 25 copies. Quickly sold out, these crystal pieces have become rare collector’s items for Pikachu fans and crystal enthusiasts alike.

Baccarat’s expertise here delivers radiant geometric, fragmented forms. They illustrate the superpowers of this little character, who electrifies his opponents with lightning-fast moves. More dazzling than ever, this hero is transformed ,thanks to Baccarat’s workshops, into a collector’s piece.
Measuring nearly 30 cm, the figure opens its arms, ears upright. With its iconic tail, it bears the engraved logo “Electric” as well as those of Baccarat and Pokémon, serving as a guarantee of authenticity.
Housed in a leather-bound folio, on which Baccarat handwrote in ink the item number, reference number, and year, the crystal sculpture comes with a certificate of authenticity. This limited-edition piece is numbered “11/25.”
