Among these 215 lots are the France team jersey No. 9 worn and signed by Luis Fernandez during the 1986 World Cup quarterfinal in Mexico against Brazil, the WBA World Champion boxing belt won by Evander Holyfield in his 1996 match against Mike Tyson, and the racket used by Roger Federer during the 2005 Wimbledon final against Andy Roddick, which he won.

« Each major sport is represented with unique items worn by players who transcend the realm of sports (Jordan, Federer, Pelé, Platini...). These pieces also represent iconic moments and historical highlights of sports, which enthusiasts can easily relive through images of past matches. Thus, we are offering the first sale of such magnitude in Europe for sports memorabilia. »

Football - Michel Platini Jersey
Jersey number 10 from Juventus Turin. Worn by Michel Platini during the 1984-85 season with Juventus Turin, specific match to be determined. Thick cotton jersey. Michel Platini played 224 matches and scored 104 goals with Juventus Turin; he won the Ballon d'Or three times, including that year.
Estimate: 2,000 - 5,000 euros.

The catalog for this first 'Sports' sale features over 200 lots, including an impressive collection assembled over more than 20 years by a Swiss business executive and entrepreneur. This unique set comprises memorabilia spanning around ten sports: Basketball, Boxing, Football, Tennis, Cycling, Winter Sports, and Multisport/ Olympics, telling the grand story of sports history.

Football - Pelé Jersey
Brazil's number 10 jersey. This is a historic jersey worn by Pelé in a promotional setting. It is one of the last jerseys worn by Pelé for the Brazilian national team, the Seleção, following the 1970 World Cup. The jersey has been signed by Carlos Alberto, captain of Brazil in 1970; Rivellino, Pelé’s successor in wearing the number 10 for the national team; Bellini, captain of Brazil’s 1958 World Cup-winning team; and Pelé himself. Pelé scored 95 goals in 110 matches with Brazil.
Estimate : 15,000 - 30,000 euros.

Basketball - Michael Jordan Jersey
Michael Jordan's number 23 jersey. Extremely rare, this is likely the jersey used for the Nike advertisement for shoes during the Kilroy campaign cut scenes. There was no special Michael Jordan jersey for the 1993-94 season, as he did not play that season, having announced his retirement a few months earlier. In 1993-94, as part of the NBA's limited-edition commemorative collection, Champion released its first series of Pro-Cuts. These were limited to a select few players and produced in small quantities per player. This is one of those jerseys, featuring the 'NBA Commemorative Collection' patch, which has been removed.
Estimate : 5,000 - 10,000 euros.

Dream Team USA 92 - Signed Ball

Among them are Michael Jordan, Magic Johnson, Charles Barkley, Karl Malone, John Stockton, Patrick Ewing, David Robinson, Larry Bird, Chris Mullin, Scottie Pippen, Clyde Drexler, and Christian Laettner. The Dream Team is the nickname given to the United States national basketball team, which for the first time brought together the best players from the North American professional league. They won the gold medal, winning all their games with an average margin of 44 points. The Dream Team is generally considered the greatest basketball team of all time.
Estimate : 3,000 - 6,000 euros.

Boxing - WBA World Champion Belt Holyfield - Tyson
Exceptional WBA World Champion boxing belt won by Evander Holyfield during the match against Mike Tyson on November 9, 1996, at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas, with Evander Holyfield declared the winner in the 11th round. At the end of each world championship, two belts are given to the winner and their team; this is one of those two belts, given by the Duva (promoter) team for the foundation and signed by Evander Holyfield. Both boxers were named Fighters of the Year, and their fight was named Fight of the Year. It was ranked among the 25 greatest fights of all time by Boxing News, a British weekly and the oldest boxing magazine still in publication. Included is Don King's signature on the first page of the program, the match ticket, a newspaper photograph with the framed belt, as well as a dedication from Evander Holyfield.
Estimate : 40,000 - 80,000 euros.
