When we talk about a creative trend at Cartier, collectors often think of timepieces from Cartier London, which is known for its distinctive shapes and original designs. But Cartier Paris also had fun with its iconic models, including the Tank, creating an “elongated mini” version in the late 1960s. This size meant the brand had to remove the famous railway-track minute track typical of the Tank. And like many of the House of the Panther’s watches, it is fitted with a LeCoultre movement – in this case, the 845 – which powers this iteration of the famous watch from the House on Rue de la Paix.
