Trained at the Academy of Fine Arts in Brussels between 1879 and 1884, Léopold Van Strydonck became a jewellery designer and opened a jewellery shop in Brussels. His creations, produced in the Wolfers workshops, established him as a leading figure in Art Nouveau jewellery.
