A rare display cabinet, ‘Plane Tree Leaves’ model, 1911.
Made of moulded and carved walnut with a floral design; the curved body opens at the top front via a glass door revealing a glass shelf and brass fittings; the central section is flanked by niches, open at the sides; the lower section opens in the centre via a door panel carved with a harpist, bordered by compartments, resting on four flared legs. Stamped with the artist’s monogram and dated 1911.
