Brass hilt with a chasseur-style guard featuring two guard arms connecting the crossguard.
The arms are decorated with line engraving, and the crossguard is almond-shaped.
The quillon is curved and teardrop-shaped.
The pommel is oval with a long tail, and the tang is made of wood covered with filigree leather.
The blade is from Solingen, curved with a hollow edge and a counter-cut edge, engraved along one-third of its length.
Steel scabbard with two brass bands.
