Brass mount with a hunter-style guard featuring two guard branches connecting the joint arch (BICK from 1812), with an almond-shaped crossguard.
Curved, teardrop-shaped quillon.
Oval pommel with a long tail, wooden tang covered in leather, two brass lugs, filigree missing.
Blade signed by the Royal Manufactory of Klingenthal 1814, curved with hollow sides and a counter-edging (BICK hallmark).
Heavy steel scabbard with two straps.
France, First Empire period.
Total length 91 cm.
