Cut brass mount.
Oval cap fitted to the ferrule, guard arm integral with the openwork plate.
Second guard arm in a continuous turned piece with a locking mechanism on the plate (screws and springs missing).
Fluted ebony tang.
Slightly curved blade with hollow edges (oxidation).
Leather scabbard with three brass fittings (old but reattached).
France, Revolutionary period.
