Brass mount with a guard featuring four fleurons adorned with a fleur-de-lis modified during the Revolution, and a guard tail decorated with fleurons and hallmarked by Bish and Juchereau (Klingenthal, c. 1784–1786), a mark also found on the blade.
Features a leather thumb rest (damaged). Round
perforated cap, wooden tang covered in leather, filigree missing.
Strong straight blade with two fuller lines.
France, late Ancien Régime period.
