A small poster signed by POTIER DE MORAIS, ‘Lieutenant of the French Wolf Hunt’, 5 May 1678, calling for ‘the hunting of wolves, she-wolves, jackals, and foxes’. Proclamation, decree by Nicolas LERCARI, Papal Vicar, Governor-General of Avignon, 8 May 1741, concerning damage caused by hunters, and reiterating the decrees prohibiting hunting during the harvest and grape-gathering seasons.
