Regarding the relaunch of the Journal de Paris. [28 September 1792]. “The Journal de Paris wishes to be relaunched. Its contributors will be outstanding patriots, such as Sieyès, Cabanis, Garat, myself, etc. The section on the Convention will be written by a man who is a very zealous republican. I therefore request the revocation of the order, and I believe that the committee can and must, before its dissolution, remove all traces of this minor infringement of press freedom, which the circumstances might have excused’.
