Paris, Laurent d’Houry, 1782.

8vo. Contemporary red morocco with a nameplate, embossed gold coats of arms in the centre of the covers, a ribbed spine decorated with gold panels, a gold title label, gilt edges, and sky-blue half-leather endpapers (a few faint foxing spots and discolouration, the gilding slightly worn).

Bearing the coat of arms of the Duke of Choiseul-Stainville, most likely Jacques-Philippe (1727–1789). A fine example decorated with a Dubuisson-style plaque design.
