He recommends Mr Legrèle, who spent ‘some time in Weimar, where he devoted himself assiduously to German literature, and now intends to broaden his intellectual horizons further by spending several months in England’. He successfully ‘made his literary debut’ in the *Revue contemporaine*. He himself will be spending a few days in London this spring and will be delighted to see his friend again…
