Daragnès; headbands and footers in purple. Print run of 350 copies, one of the 330 numbered on white Lana vellum (no. 30). Original drawing by DARAGNÈS, pen and black ink wash on the flyleaf: bouquet of flowers, with a handwritten dedication: ‘for Marcelle Gompel with all my friendship for New Year’s Day 47, affectionately Daragnès’. The following have been mounted at the front: – an autograph manuscript by Philippe CHABANEIX on the poetic works of Francis Carco (5 pages in-4, with numerous deletions and corrections); – a signed typescript by Francis CARCO with autograph corrections and an autograph addition of 17 lines (7 ff. in-4); – the autograph manuscript of the opening of *Mortefontaine*: ‘This is the land of Gérard de Nerval’… (1 page in-8, 15 lines, plus 7 lines crossed out); – a page of Carco’s notes on Nerval (1¼ pages in-8).
