Jean-François HACHE (1730-1796)

Louis XV trictrac table in molded walnut.
The removable tray, inlaid with alpine wood magnifiers, features a checkerboard inlaid with lemon and amaranth in its centre, flanked on either side by two reserves inlaid with quartets. It is highlighted by a blackened wooden net frame.
The tray opens and discovers the game of knitting stage fright in blackened wood veneer, green and ivory wood.
On the side, a pull-out bin in which there is a trace of an Axe type E label.
The characteristic "vaulted" belt of the workshop rests on four arched legs.
Second half of the 18th century.
