‘A Renegade re-engined with a Chevrolet V8!’

• The Jeep CJ (‘CJ’ stands for ‘Civilian Jeep’) is an off-road vehicle manufactured by the American car manufacturer Willys-Overland from 1946 onwards. It is the civilian version of the famous military vehicle used during the Second World War: the Willys MB.
• The last series of CJ models, the CJ7 and CJ8, remained in the manufacturer's catalogue until 1987, when they were replaced by the more modern Jeep Wrangler.
• The CJ7 appeared in 1976 and remained in production for 11 years, with 379,299 units built.
• The model we are presenting here was originally a modest Renegade version with a 2.5-litre 4-cylinder petrol engine. Renamed ‘Days of Thunder’, it has since been fitted with a 5-litre Chevrolet V8 engine... like the Golden Eagle and Hawk.
• This is a project to be completed, ideal for having fun on a large private estate!
