“Brand new, unique on the market”
- The BMW HP4 Race is a pure track superbike, designed as a track machine, not approved for road use. Presented as a prototype at the EICMA show in Milan, the propeller brand has finally announced its ultra-limited production of 750 units starting in 2017.
- The technical specifications are beyond belief, with some truly incredible figures: a technological showcase, the frame is made entirely of carbon fibre and the engine produces 215 hp at 14,000 rpm, while the electronic equipment is state-of-the-art, featuring adjustable traction control, launch control, pit lane limiter, telemetry on the digital dashboard, etc. All this came at a price in 2017: €80,000!
- The BMW HP4 Race presented here bears the number 440 out of 750 units sold between 2017 and 2018. Purchased at the time by a BMW dealer, it has the unique characteristic of never having been ridden, either on the track or elsewhere.
- The machine is brand new. The stand used to lift the bike in the pits is still wrapped in its protective plastic and there are no scratches or other signs of wear anywhere.
- For several years, it has been stored in the garage of its owner, a collector of rare motorcycles and a connoisseur. Today, it awaits an enthusiast who may want to ride it or display it like a trophy in their living room.

- La BMW HP4 Race est une superbike de piste pure, conçue comme une machine de piste, non homologuée pour la route. Présentée tel un prototype au salon EICMA de Milan, la marque à l’hélice annonce finalement sa production ultra limitée à 750 exemplaires à partir de 2017.
- Les caractéristiques techniques dépassent le réel tant les chiffres sont démoniaques : vitrine technologique, le cadre est entièrement en carbone et le moteur fait 215 ch à 14 000 tr/min alors que les équipements électroniques sont à la pointe, on retrouve traction control ajustable, launch control, pit lane limiter, télémétrie sur tableau de bord digital etc… Tout ceci avait un prix en 2017 : 80 000 € !
- La BMW HP4 Race ici présentée porte le numéro 440 sur 750 exemplaires donc vendus entre 2017 et 2018. Achetée à l’époque par un concessionnaire de la marque, elle a comme caractéristique singulière de ne jamais avoir roulé, ni sur piste ni ailleurs.
- La machine est neuve. La béquille qui permet de lever la moto dans les stands est encore enroulée de son plastique de protection et aucune rayure ou autre trace d’usure n’est à observer quelque part.
- Depuis quelques années elle était dans le garage du propriétaire, collectionneur de motos rares et fin connaisseur. Aujourd’hui elle attend l’amateur pour peut-être la mettre en route ou l'exposer comme un trophée dans son salon ?
