Oval pommel joined to the guard, decorated with scallop shell motifs.
Chiselled connecting arch linking the openwork plate, decorated with a marine anchor.
Slightly curved quillon decorated with a sea dog.
Horn tang (filigree missing).
Slightly curved blade by Coulaux in Klingenthal.
Scabbard with three chiselled brass fittings featuring a marine anchor and a scallop shell pommel (damaged).
France, mid-19th century.
