Brass hilt of the battle guard type, decorated with line work.
A chiselled-edge pommel with line decoration.
A hilt arch from which three branches extend, connecting to a shell-shaped guard decorated with a pomegranate.
An openwork crossguard and a teardrop-shaped quillon.
A wooden tang covered in leather with double brass filigree.
A long, curved blade with a hollow edge and a fuller.
It is marked on the back in cursive letters ‘MAN DU KLINGENTHAL COULEAU FRERES’ and bears the Marion hallmark (1808–1810).
The tie is without guarantee.
Leather scabbard with three brass fittings (damaged).
