PEDESTAL FEATURING THE COAT OF ARMS OF FRANCE

Made of finely carved oak, rectangular in shape with rounded corners. Each side features a finely carved design, such as sunflowers and a cartouche, and one side bears the royal coat of arms of France. Frieze of ovals. Probably the base of an equestrian sculpture.
Late 18th century or early 19th century.
