The reverse is signed in intaglio and bears a foundry mark: “J.B. déposée / Bronze garanti Paris”.
Height: 26 cm.
Set on an octagonal base of black marble with white veining.
Height: 4.2 cm
(minor chips, wear to the patina).
Based on the white marble model exhibited at the 1897 Salon des Artistes Français in Paris, at the Palais de l'Industrie et des Beaux-Arts.
