Oval pommel with a laurel wreath, round guard arch and small guard arms, curved quillon.
Wooden tang covered with filigree sheepskin.
Curved blade with hollow edges, engraved with ‘CHARTE ET LIBERTE’ and ‘29 juillet 1830’, gilded and blued over two-thirds of its length.
Leather scabbard with three brass fittings.
