tang covered with filigree sheepskin. Straight
blade with two full-length fuller grooves, engraved on the back: ‘Manufacture nationale de Chatellerault, January 1917 – dragon 1854-15’. ?
Iron scabbard with a single strap and symmetrical pommel.
