Light cavalry officer’s sabre in the hunter style. Long-tailed pommel, a jointed arch from which two secondary branches extend, an almond-shaped crossguard and a curved quillon. Wooden tang covered with filigree leather.
Blade in acid-etched Damascus steel, curved with a fuller and a counter-edge. It is decorated at the heel with a gilded intaglio engraving.
Scabbard with a wooden core, two brass fittings and suspension rings; iron tip missing.
