A melon-ribbed pommel, a rounded and hollowed-out joint arch, an almond-shaped crossguard and a curved quillon.
Quilled
ebony tang. Curved blade with hollow sides, counter-cut edge, engraved, gilded and blued to one-third.
Brass scabbard with two bands.
France, Consulate period.
