Oval, chiselled pommel with a skirt; the crossguard bears the same number as the scabbard, and the quillon extends in a teardrop shape.
Wooden tang covered with filigree leather.
Curved, hollow-edged blade from the Royal Manufactory of Châtellerault, 1845.
Iron scabbard with two bands and suspension rings; the chape is missing.
France, mid-19th century.
