A table clock, known as a ‘bollard’. The case is decorated with tortoiseshell inlay and white fillet work. Tinned dial with blued steel hands, signed John Alcock, St Martins Lane. Displays hours, minutes and date. Chime control. Gilded bronze feet and ring. Richly engraved back plate.
