White porcelain tankard decorated with flowering branches in low relief accented with gold, Chinese figures, fantastical creatures and gilded festoons. Gilded silver (vermeil) rim, engraved with foliage on a dotted background; at the top, a profile set within a medallion.
Pine cone hallmark for Augsburg (date unidentified) and master silversmith Gottlieb Menzel (1676–1757).
