Oval painted enamel miniature portrait. A distinguished lady of the court in a white gown, wearing a pearl and diamond cuff bracelet, with a lapis blue shawl draped across her chest. Strands of pearls in her hair. Against a white enamel background.
Louis XIV period.
Set in a finely chased gold frame with foliage motifs and a blue enamelled border.
