Bronze mount, crown-chased cap, fluted joint, openwork plate with floral decoration, teardrop-shaped quillon. Horn tang, filigree-worked (loosened). Slightly
curved blade with a fuller and groove marked with the Châtellerault arms factory mark dated 1875. Iron scabbard with a single ferrule and suspension ring.
France, Third Republic period.
