




LARGE CONSOLE TABLE WITH COAT OF ARMS

A carved and gilded wooden console table, resting on four scrolled legs joined by a crossbar, at the centre of which stands a vase of flowers. The frieze, decorated with foliage motifs, is adorned with two fleur-de-lis clasps and, in the centre, the combined coat of arms of Hay des Nétumières and Colin de La Biochaye beneath a marquis’s crown. White marble top (damaged).

The coat of arms belongs to the household of Isidore Hay des Nétumières and his wife, née Louise Colin de La Biochaye, who were married in 1844.
