Hunter's sabre (?)

Openwork iron mount.
An oval cap from which two arches extend, joined by a crossbar, meeting the pommel.
Curved pommel tail marked ‘B’.
Wooden tang covered in leather with an iron filigree pattern.
Long, curved blade with hollow edges, unmarked.
Sheath with a wooden core covered in sheepskin, five fittings and two suspension rings.
