Gilded brass mount.
Crown with a laurel wreath and monogram.
A connecting arch from which two branches extend, linking the pommel.
Slightly curved pommel with a palmette design.
Straight blade with hollow sides, the back etched with acid.
Iron scabbard with a single ferrule and a suspension ring (poorly fitted to the blade).
Pits on the blade.
France, Third Republic period.
Total length: 107.5 cm.
