A circular miniature portrait on ivory of a lieutenant or second lieutenant. He is depicted in a half-length portrait, wearing a blue uniform with the epaulettes characteristic of his rank, and a Cross of the Legion of Honour. Signed and dated on the left: “Brunet. pinxit. 1807”
