Fittings in chiselled bronze and horn.
Oval-shaped cap decorated with a wreath of olive branches.
Horn shaft; the filigree is missing.
Guard with two branches on a curved joint.
Curved blade with hollow sides, followed by two grooves and a carp’s tongue.
It is acid-etched over a third of its length.
Iron scabbard with two brass bands (orange peel finish).
France, mid-19th century.
