Exceptional: only one owner. Steel case, screwed back, smooth water-resistant pushers. Oyster crown. Black bakelite bezel with tachymeter. Silvered dial, black counters, square index and luminescent baton hands. 12-hour, 30-minute and permanent seconds totalizers.
Chronograph movement based on Valjoux 722-1. Freq 21600 vib/h Steel folded bracelet.

Traceability: Important maintenance file of the watch since its acquisition composed of many invoices which will be given to the buyer.
To note change of case in November 89 ref 6241 becoming 6262. At the origin this Cosmograph carried Ref 6241. Often for reasons of waterproofness the manufacture Rolex proceeded to changes of case. A document of the Rolex manufacture attests this operation in 89.
The Daytona with exotic dial owes its legend to the actor Paul Newman who wore it during the shooting of the film WINNING (Virages) at the time of the famous car race of the 500 Miles of INDIANAPOLIS. Let us recall that the Cosmograph was the only model of the brand reserved for the use of the car races. The serial number will remain with the confidentiality of the purchaser
