Rectangular flat desk in satin-finish veneer with rich ormolu omementation decorated with lozenges, acanthus leaves, asparagus and laurel sprigs. It opens with three drawers in the waistband and false drawers on the visitor's side. It stands on four square-section sheathed legs adorned with ormolu scrapers and finished with bronze sabots. The top is belted with gilt bronze and trimmed with leather.
