PAIR OF SILVER-MOUNTED COVERED POTS The Chinese porcelain pots are decorated with
Imari of a bird on a branch and flowers, a series of Chinese characters from the Kangxi period.
Silver mounting at the foot, rim engraved with leafy cartouches, openwork top.
Paris, 1734. Master goldsmith's hallmark attributed to Charles-Jean-Baptiste Clérin (active in Paris between 1732 and 1756).
Early 18th century.
Height: 13.5 cm - Diameter: 8.3 cm
(Slight accidents, small visible missing parts)
